Children's Film Festival
Danny is a patron supporting the Children’s Film Festival, taking place at The Barbican, London from Saturday 21st – Sunday 29th November 2009.
This year, not only will Danny be supporting the festival, but there will also be some other very exciting patrons to support the festival’s work: film directors, Tim Burton and David Yates; Carnegie Medal Winning children’s author, Frank Cottrell Boyce; Oscar and BAFTA nominated actress, Helena Bonham Carter; and the narrator of ‘In the Night Garden’ and star of stage and screen, Sir Derek Jacobi.
Danny said (about the festival): "Having been in the frontline of children's TV for some time now I am fully aware of how much entertainment they require. And as the future generation of film-makers could very well be visiting the Barbican festival, I am honoured to have been asked to contribute to helping our youngsters realize that this is a good profession to be in. I might even get to play an old man in one of their films".
Danny will also be coming to the Opening Gala!
